This instruction manual for ICD-10 is presented as a separate volume in order to facilitate its use in parallel with the main volume (vol.1) of the classification. It contains guidelines for morbidity and mortality coding, some new material on practical aspects of utilization of the classification, special tabulation lists of morbidity and mortality causes. Along with the basic description of ICD-10 there are practical instructions for mortality and morbidity coders and guidelines for presentation and interpretation of data.
