[DPS] Data Presentation System (EN)
Presented "Dynamic Data Tables" were designed on the basis of programme DPS (Data presentation System), which was developed by the WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Statistics and Information (the Lithuanian Health Information Centre) in close collaboration with the WHO Regional Office for Europe as a part of programme EU/WHO Copernicus Care Support Project. The purpose of the system is presenting statistical data in a clear, comprehensible and user-friendly way. The system is helpful tool for reviewing, analysing and comparing large amounts of statistical data. The version DPS_region, which was the basis for the Dynamic data tables, is destined for users interested in health situation in regions of the Czech Republic. The Dynamic Data Tables contain health indicators, which are collected from each of the fourteen regions and the Czech Republic, for the time series 1996 - 2003. The indicators are divided into main six groups: Demography, Health status, Health services, Economic situation, Expenditure on health care, Environment and Cancer registry.
