The Institute will continue to participate in gradual implementation of the system of health accounts, which includes statistics of health care workers (HLA), for the needs of routine monitoring and reporting in national health information systems. Responsibility for SHA is mainly on CSSO, while IHIS CR acts mainly in professional consulting but it has full competence in HLA. In the framework of Joint OECD, EUROSTAT and WHO health accounts (SHA) data collection, data on expenditure on health according to SHA are provided every year. SHA gradually becomes the basic framework for all health statistics in EU and at present it undergoes extensive revision.
