Data contained in this publication are based on data collected in the National Register of reproductive health - National Register of assisted reproduction. The publication provides comprehensive information about the treatment of assisted reproduction in the Czech Republic. The processed data are classified mainly according to the age of women at the beginning of the cycle, the intended target of cycle, diagnosis of females, respectively infertile couple.

 

AKTUÁLNÍ INFORMACE (Topical Information)

39 centers of assisted reproduction were operating during the year 2012. In the same year, 27 353 cycles of assisted reproduction were opened. Out of these cycles, 19 106 cycles were made to Czech citizens. Women up to 34 years of age most frequently undergo assisted reproduction in the Czech Republic. The proportion of women in this age group in the total number of cycles is decreasing.
