The publication is based on processed data from annual reports on activity returned by health establishments. Contains information on activity and personnel capacity of health establishments in selected branches of complement – common examination and treatment units. Data are processed and presented by regions.

AKTUÁLNÍ INFORMACE (Topical Information)

Total of 625.96 professional health workers (FTE, including contractual workers) provided all activities of nuclear medicine departments and establishments in the Czech Republic in 2012. 2 818 patients were treated; nearly 423 thousand examinations in vivo and 969 thousand examinations in vitro were performed. At approximately the same number of workers, there was a decrease in the number of treated patients by 10 % and an increase in the number of in vitro examinations of 14 %.

Total of 625.55 professional health workers (FTE, including contractual workers) provided all activities of nuclear medicine departments and establishments in the Czech Republic in 2011. 3 141 patients were treated; 425 thousand examinations in vivo and 849 thousand examinations in vitro were performed.

The activities of the departments and establishments nuclear medicine were ensured by 664,17 professional health workers (FTE, including contractual workers) in 2010. There were treated 3 347 patients and altogether were performed 434 thousand examinations in vivo and 985 thousand examinations in vitro.

The source of data on activity in branches of nuclear medicine are regular statistical acquisitions of reports on activity of health establishments A (MZ) 1-01 completed and returned by every out-patient department (unit) in branches nuclear medicine in all health establishments without regard to type of founder. The activities of the departments and establishments nuclear medicine were ensured by 669.19 professional health workers (FTE, including contractual workers) in 2009. There were treated 3 484 patients and altogether were performed 437 212 examinations in vivo and 1 243 874 examinations in vitro.
