The publication contains data on numbers of newly notified occupational diseases by causes of disease, age groups, territory, length of exposition, category of economic activity.

AKTUÁLNÍ INFORMACE (Topical Information)

This Topical Information presents the numbers of occupational diseases newly reported in the Czech Republic in 2012. Data are issued from the National Register of Occupational Diseases which is administrated by the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the CR. The reports are processed by the National Institute of Public Health in Prague. The number of newly reported occupational diseases declined, if compared with the preceding year, by 13 % to 1 099 reported cases, from that 1 042 cases were occupational disease and 57 cases had the status of endangerment by an occupational disease.

Its administrator is Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the CR. The reports are processed by the National Institute of Public Health in Prague. The number of newly reported occupational diseases declined slightly compared with the preceding year by 2 % to 1 266 reported cases, from that 1 210 cases were occupational disease and 56 cases were given the status of endangerment by an occupational disease.
