ICD 10 update, second edition

Statistics of causes of death is connected with the International classification of diseases and causes of death. Its 10th revision, which is valid in the CR since 1994, has been regularly updated by WHO since 1996 and then in 2004 an updated 2nd edition of ICD-10 was issued. IHIS CR was commissioned with updating all three volumes of the Czech version of the classification. The Tabular part of the classification including all changes valid as of 1.1.2009 was published in 2008 and in 2009 the updated Alphabetical list was issued. The Instruction manual was also updated with all changes valid as of 1.1.2010 and published on the internet pages. In 2010 the update of the 1st and 3rd volumes will be finished so that all parts of ICD-10 will contain the changes valid as of 1.1.2010 with the proposed validity in the CR from 1.1.2011.
