Hospitals in the Czech Republic in 2009

By the end of the year 2009 there were 191 hospitals in the CR, with 62 992 beds (of that 2 186 newborns'cots and 7 090 nursing care beds). The hospital bed fund diminished in 2009 by 0,4 %. The average bed occupancy in 2009 was 255.5 days, which means slight increase 1.3 days. As well as in 2008 the average length of stay was 7.4 days.
