Newly notified occupational diseases 2009

This Topical Information presents a survey of the numbers of newly reported occupational diseases in the Czech Republic. Data are issued from the National Register of Occupational Diseases. Its administrator is Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the CR. The executor of reports is the National Institute of Public Health in Prague. The number of newly reported occupational diseases declined compared with the preceding year by 6.4 % to 1 313 reported cases, from that were 1 245 cases of occupational disease and 68 cases of risk of occupational disease.
