Activity of health care institutions in Czech Republic in the year 2009 - Section of clinical haematology

This topical information describes performance of health care institutions in the clinical haematology section. The data comes from reports on activities (form A (MZ) 1-01), which are filled in and handed to UZIS CR by departments of health care facilities (reporting units) within the Program of statistical acquisition of Ministry of Health. The return rate of haematology reports was 92 %, in total there were 174 reporting units involved in the data collection process. The activities of health care institutions in the clinical haematology section were performed by 190.39 physicians and 1 218.99 health care workers. There were 23 100 804 examinations provided in departments of clinical haematology.
