Health Establishments in the CR in 2009

This information characterizes the evolution of health establishment network in 2009 with particular regard to marked deviations from the preceding year or from the long-term trend. Provision of therapeutic and preventive care in the CR is assessed separately for out-patient and in-patient care. At present there are 27 959 health establishments registered in the CR, nearly 19 824 independent practices of physicians in primary care and specialists. On the average there are 233 inhabitants per 1 physician and 326 inhabitants per 1 out-patient physician. The published data are taken from the Registry of Health Establishments maintained by IHIS CR.
