Activity of section of radiology and visual methods in the year 2009

This topical information describes performance of health care institutions in the radiology and visual methods section. The data comes from reports on activities of health establishments A (MZ) 1-01, which are filled in and handed to UZIS CR by departments of health care facilities within the Program of statistical acquisition of Ministry of Health. The return rate of radiology reports was 92 %, in total there were 535 reporting units involved in the data collection process. Activities of health care institutions in the radiology and visual methods section were performed by 1 434 physicians and 3 320 other health care workers. There were 13 675 978 examinations performed in departments of radiology.
