Tuberculosis surveillance in Europe - report on tuberculosis cases notified in 2009

In 51 countries of the WHO European Region 397 thousand cases were registered in 2009, 5.6 % of notifications made to WHO worldwide. Data from Tuberculosis surveillance in Europe describe a diverse epidemiological situation of TB in countries of WHO European Region and provide also the detailed overview about TB incidence in separate states. Publication contains also tables and graphs with trends of notified cases and rates in recent years. Annual Report includes likewise information about results of treatment and anti-tuberculosis drug resistance.
