Infectious diseases among drug users in the Czech Republic in 2001–2010

This Topical Information presents basic data about the incidence of venereal diseases mandatorily reported from the National Registry of Venereal Diseases and about incidence of tuberculosis from the Tuberculosis Registry between 2001–2010 among drug users. Injecting drug users comprised 5.9 % of reported cases of syphilis, 1.3 % of reported cases of gonorrhea and drug users were 1.1 % of reported cases of tuberculosis.
