Health care about patients taking psychoactive substances (alcohol and other drugs) hospitalized in psychiatric in-patient establishments in Czech Republic in the year 2011

Altogether there were 15 253 cases of hospitalizations with the main diagnosis F10–F19 in psychiatric institutes and hospital psychiatric wards and their number decreased by 1 %. Of them 9 765 cases of hospitalisations were due to alcohol-related disorders with alcohol (diagnosis F10) and 5 487 cases with illegal drugs disorders (diagnosis F11–F19, without tobacco).
