Inequalities in Health Service Utilisation in OECD Countries

This topical information briefly presents the content and results of analysis published by OECD as Health Working papers No. 58. The OECD document observes income-related inequalities in health service utilisation in population of selected OECD countries, in relation to financing of health care system. Study shows that income-related inequalities in utilisation of health care persist across OECD countries and are closely related to the share of private and public sphere in health related costs and services.
