Activity of hemodialysis centres in the CR in the year 2011

In the Czech Republic, there were 98 hemodialysis centres with 1 232 dialysis beds in total by 31. 12. 2011. Their activity ensured 222 physicians. The number of executed treatments increased by 4.8 % compared to the previous year and reached 820.5 thousands, of which 53 % were hemodialysis and 47 % hemodiafiltrations. In hemodialysis centres 12 059 patients were treated in that year.
