Report on newborn 2011

In 2011 there were 108 673 children live born in the Czech Republic, the crude birth rate was 10.4 live births per thousand inhabitants. Two thirds of born children have had the birth weight between 3 and 4 kilograms. More than half of children were born in 40th or 41th week of gestation. Length of stay in hospital of newborns discharged home was most frequently up to 4 days.
