Activity of institutes for infants and homes for children up to 3 years of age in the Moravskoslezský Region in the years 2007–2011

In 2011 were 4 institutes for infants and homes for children up to 3 years in the Region. Capacity of these institutes was 209 places and at the end of year there were placed 189 children. During the year were admitted 297 children, mostly for health reasons. Total 299 children were discharged, 51 % into their own family. About 47 % of discharged children spent in institute 0 – 2 months.
