Children and Adolescents Care in the Moravskoslezsky Region in 2012

Information on health service activity in the branch of children and adolescents care in the Moravskoslezsky region in 2012 contains data about out-patient care, in particular, about health service network, personnel capacity, activity, patients followed up for selected diagnoses and also basic indicators of in-patient care in hospitals. In the regions of the CR there were in 2012 on the average 9.4 physicians for children and adolescents per 10 000 inhabitants up to 19 years. The proportion of children breastfed for 6 month or more decreased by 1,2 percentage point, to 36.4 %.
