Activity of section of nuclear medicine in the year 2012

Total of 625.96 professional health workers (FTE, including contractual workers) provided all activities of nuclear medicine departments and establishments in the Czech Republic in 2012. 2 818 patients were treated; nearly 423 thousand examinations in vivo and 969 thousand examinations in vitro were performed. At approximately the same number of workers, there was a decrease in the number of treated patients by 10 % and an increase in the number of in vitro examinations of 14 %.
