Health care about patients using psychoactive substances (alcohol and other drugs) hospitalized in psychiatric in-patient establishments in the Czech Republic in the year 2012

Altogether there were 15 419 cases of hospitalizations with the main diagnosis F10–F19 in psychiatric institutes and hospital psychiatric wards and their number increased by 1 %. Of them 9 544 cases of hospitalisations were due to alcohol-related disorders with alcohol (diagnosis F10) and 5 872 cases with illegal drugs disorders (diagnosis F11–F19, without tobacco).
