Activity of hemodialysis centres in the CR in the year 2012

In the Czech Republic, there were 100 hemodialysis centres with 1 272 dialysis beds in total by 31. 12. 2012. Their activity ensured 216 physicians. The number of executed treatments increased by 3.7 % compared to the previous year and reached 850.9 thousands, of which 38.6 % were hemodialysis and 54.8 % hemodiafiltrations, and the remaining 6.6 % were other treatments. In hemodialysis centres 11 802 patients were treated in that year.
