Hospitals in the Czech Republic in 2013

By the end of the year 2013 there were 188 hospitals in the CR with 56 807 beds (include 47 033 acute care beds, 7 652 nursing care beds and 2 122 newborns' cots). Long term decrease continued in 2013. The hospital bed fund diminished in 2013 by 2 025, i.e. by 3.6 %. The average length of stay was 6.8 days, which means slight decrease - by 0.1 days.
