Activity of branch of gynaecology and medical care of women in 2013

The average number of gynaecologists per 10 000 women remains long term stable. Total number of examinations per one physician same as the number of registered patients per 1 physician decreased. Over one half of women aged 15–49 years used hormonal or IUD contraception. The absolute and relative numbers of patients with newly diagnosed carcinoma increased. There were 106 516 deliveries and 175 275 gynaecological surgeries recorded in the CR in 2013.
