Activity of General Practitioners for Adults in the Kraj Vysočina Region in 2013

Primary care for adults in the Kraj Vysočina Region as of 31. 12. 2013 was provided by 224 general practitioners for adults (in full time equivalent). Per 1 GP for adults there were on the average 1 744 registered patients. GPs for adults performed 1,7 examinations. Preventive examinations represent 6,3 % of the total number. Provision of primary care for adults does not change markedly in long terms, but the age structure of physicians evolves unfavourably.
