Activity of General Practitioners for Adults in the Zlinsky Region in 2013

Primary care for adults in the Zlinsky Region as of 31. 12. 2013 was provided by 297 general practitioners for adults (in full time equivalent). Per 1 GP for adults there were on the average 1 578 registered patients. GPs for adults performed 2,3 examinations. Preventive examinations represent 6,3 % of the total number. Provision of primary care for adults does not change markedly in long terms, but the age structure of physicians evolves unfavourably.
