Activity of health care institutions in Czech Republic in the year 2009.Section of clinical biochemistry

This topical information describes performance of health care institutions in the clinical biochemistry section. The data comes from reports on activities (form A (MZ) 1-01), which are filled in and handed to by departments of health care facilities (reporting units) within the Program of statistical acquisition of Ministry of Health. In total there were 313 from 334 reporting units involved in the data collection process. The activities of health care institutions in the clinical biochemistry section were performed by 287.17 physicians and 3 692.44 health care workers. There were 184 729 432 examinations provided in departments of clinical biochemistry, the number of dispensarised persons was 26 433.
