European Health Interview Survey in CR - EHIS CR (Social environment)

Topical Information concerns social environment. We are pursuing number of close persons, which a respondent can count on in case of serious personal problems, intensity and quality of social contacts. For respondents at age 54 years and younger, higher number of close persons and higher quality of social contacts are more common. Higher frequency of social contacts is more common for woman than for man. Comparing to the survey in 2002, the proportion of persons with very good social contacts increased. On the contrary, the proportion of persons that are always in contact with their relatives and friends, decreased.
