Activity of institutes for infants and homes for children up to 3 years of age and other institutions for children in 2010

In 2010 were 34 institutes for infants and homes for children up to 3 years in the CR. Capacity of these institutes was 1 963 places and at the end of year there were placed 1 513 children. During the year were admitted 2 077 children, mostly for social reasons. 2 085 children were discharged, 54 % into their own family. More than fourth of discharged children spent in institute more than one year.
