Report on newborn 2010

In 2010 there were 117 153 children live born in the Czech Republic, the crude birth rate was 11.1 live births per thousand inhabitants. Two thirds of born children have had the birth weight between 3 and 4 kilograms. More than half of children were born in 40th or 41th week of gestation. Length of stay in hospital of newborns discharged home was most frequently up to 4 days.
