Hospitals in the Czech Republic in 2012

By the end of the year 2012 there were 188 hospitals in the CR, with 58 832 beds (include 49 181 acute care beds, 7 460 nursing care beds and 2 191 newborns' cots). Long term decrease continued in 2012. The hospital bed fund diminished in 2012 by 1 504, i.e. by 2.6 %. The average length of stay was 6.9 days, which means slight decrease - by 0.3 days.
