The publication is processed from data contained in the National Registry of CardiacSurgery (NRCS). Data on all cardiac surgery operations performed at cardiac surgeryworkplaces in the Czech Republic are compulsorily registered.
The Register is a part of the National Health Information System (NHIS). Administrationof NHIS is delegated by Ministry of Health to Institute of Health Information and Statisticsof the Czech Republic. This delegation is based on Act No. 372/2011 Coll. on healthservices and conditions of their provision. Processing of the Register is delegated to theCoordination Center for Departmental Medical Information Systems (CCDMHS). Thepublication was issued by IHIS CR in co-operation with CCSHS and with the Council ofNRCS.
